Prof. Junichi Hiratsuka is a radiation oncologist from Kawasaki Medical School. He was the President of Japanese Society of Neutron Capture Therapy (JSNCT). His research interests include boron neutron capture therapy (BNCT), high-dose-rate brachytherapy for prostate cancer and development of accelerated partial-breast irradiation (APBI) for breast-conserving patients.
